Juniper has antiseptic, regenerating, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous action.
Menthol has a local vasoconstrictor effect, reducing the sensitivity of nerve endings, causing sensations of coolness and relieving pain, has a local anesthetic, sedative, pronounced bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effect.
