Higenica Plus Lice and Nits Lotion is a universal pediculicidal combination product. The product contains 2 groups of active ingredients: demitikon, which is not an insecticide, as well as plant components – lavender oil and Neem leaf extract. Authorized for use in adults and children from 3 years of age. The kit contains a special comb for mechanical removal of lice and nits.

Method of Application:

1. Check for lice and nits in all family members using the special comb provided. It is best to inspect on dry hair in good light.

Brush the hair well beforehand, then comb through the hair strand by strand. Pay attention to the areas where lice and nits are most often localized – behind the ears and at the bottom of the nape of the neck. After each combing, wipe the comb with a white cloth. If the head is infested with lice, the parasites will be clearly visible on the cloth.

All family members found to have lice should be treated at the same time to avoid re-infestation with parasites. At the end of the examination, treat the comb.

2. Before use, shake the bottle, then apply the required amount of the product “Hygienic Plus” on dry hair until it is fully moisturized. Massaging movements distribute the product evenly over the entire length of hair: from roots to ends. Long and especially thick hair should be treated by strands. Leave the product “Hygienic Plus” on the hair for 15 minutes.

3. 15 minutes after applying the product, add the required amount of water and shampoo to the hair and shake out the foam. Rinse the product thoroughly with warm running water. In case of problems with rinsing out the product, you can use absorbent paper towels. Use egg yolk to whip up the foam and cornstarch to remove grease, which will adsorb the product residue.

4. Remove lice and nits with the special comb provided in the kit. Before combing, divide long, thick hair into strands. Comb each strand of hair from root to tip in sequence. Clean the comb with a tissue after each combing.

5. If necessary, re-treat with “Hygienica Plus” after 7-10 days. In case of doubt about the effectiveness of the treatment, repeating the treatment ensures that any accidentally remaining nits or lice are eliminated.

It is also important to keep your home clean and follow hygiene rules. It is especially important to treat bedding and personal belongings.

Treatment of laundry consists of boiling for 20 minutes with any laundry detergent. Thorough ironing of linen also kills lice and nits. It is necessary to wash brushes, combs, hairpins, and other items used by family members before treatment. The apartment and car should be thoroughly vacuumed and, if possible, treated with disinfectants.
