Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis L.) is a species of herbaceous plant of the genus Eyebright (Euphrasia) of the family Zarazichaceae. It got its name for the fact that it can be used to treat eye diseases. Eyebright is useful for any ophthalmologic diseases, used in severe eye fatigue for preventive purposes. Dried or powdered leaves are used externally for lotions, rinses and baths for eye inflammation. The plant has an astringent and anti-inflammatory effect.

How to use: 1 tablespoon (3 g) herbs pour 1 cup (200 ml) boiling water, insist – 5-10 minutes, strain. Take adults 1/2 cup 2 times a day. Duration of intake – at least 1 month. If necessary, the course of reception can be repeated.
Not recommended : in case of individual intolerance to the components, pregnancy, breastfeeding. It is recommended to consult a physician before use.
